How to Incorporate Greenery, Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year Into Your Home

Pantone has announced the 2017 Color of the Year and we just love it! A bright and cheerful color that gets us excited for spring (even though winter has just begun). Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Greenery is nature’s neutral!

Color Pairings

Although this shade has been given mixed reviews, Greenery is a very versatile shade that looks great with many color combinations. Greenery can be paired with neutrals, bright shades, deeper shades, pastels, metallics and even the 2016 shades of rose quartz and serenity (a pale blue).

Here are a few ways that you can incorporate this shade in your home!

Create a splash of greenery by adding an area rug. Area Rugs are a great way to add personality and comfort to your living room, elegance to your dining room and softness and style to your bedroom.

Add some greenery to your bedroom to create a calm and tranquil retreat.

“Pantone’s Greenery is a symbolic color selection; a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.” We see this shade as a fresh start to the New Year and a perfect color to carry into spring 2017!
